Planning, permitted development & building control – We can offer knowledge and experience of the planning and building control approval system at a domestic and a commercial level.

Conservation – We deal with all types of heritage buildings, both designated and non-designated. Our key experience includes working in conservation areas, adaptation of an Edwardian barracks building into serviced office and the conversion of a grade A Scottish castle into a hotel.

BIM – All of our design work relies on 3D building information modelling (read more here). This is a major benefit to clients as it helps to identify potential clashes and technical issues earlier in the design process when they can still be easily designed out or mitigated dealt with at minimal cost. We can also offer BIM related business services ranging from basic training and implementation advice to family creation and problem solving.

Landscape & interior design – On projects which require an all-round package we can offer expertise on landscape design and interiors too – both on a domestic level and on larger scale commercial projects.

Design for ageing & disability – As well as designing for disabilities in commercial buildings we have completed a number of domestic wetroom extensions and adaptations. We’re bit believers in the principle of high quality design for all and these environments are no exception.
